Use saltwater nasal spray or nose drops

  • These can keep your child's nasal passages moist which will help him breathe better through his nose and have a better night sleep58.And of course, that means you'll get to sleep, too!

Give honey

  • Honey can help relieve a cough in children above 1year.58
  • If your child is between 2 and 5 years, give him a half teaspoon of honey.
  • If your child is between 6 and 11 years, one teaspoon is recommended.

Use a humidifier in the room

Have your child sleep on an incline
