Syrup 15 mg/5 mL: Adults and children over 12 years: 10 mL (2 tsps.) 3 times daily.
Children 6 - 12 years: 5 mL (1 tsp.) 2 - 3 times daily.
Mucosolvan® is composed of 5 ml of a solution containing 30 mg ambroxol hydrochloride.
Ambroxol is a clinically validated mucolytic agent that is systemically active. The initiation of the action occurs after about 30 minutes when administered orally.
